The short version

This website collects nothing about you as a casual visitor: no analytics, no advertising trackers, no third-party scripts, and no cookies set by us. The scheduling calendar on the contact page is served from our own booking service (cal.f7less.com) and is covered by this same policy. If you email me or book a consult, I obviously have what you sent me, and that is covered below.

What this website collects

Nothing, directly. The pages are static files. We create no account for you, set no cookie of our own, and run no script that reports your visit back to us or to any third party.

The booking calendar on the contact page runs directly on this site and fetches open appointment slots from cal.f7less.com, which is operated by us. Loading that page does not set tracking cookies or share your visit with any outside scheduling provider.

The site is served by Google Firebase Hosting, which, like any web server, processes standard request information such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested in order to deliver the page and to protect against abuse. That handling is governed by Google’s own terms as our hosting provider. We do not consult, export, or analyse those logs.

If you contact me

When you email adam@bernot.dev or book a consult through the calendar, I receive what you chose to send: typically your name, email address, and a description of your business problem (plus a meeting address if you request an in-person consult).

I use that information to schedule the meeting, reply to you, and, if we work together, to carry out the project. I do not sell it, rent it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list. There is no newsletter to be subscribed to.

Client project data

Information belonging to clients (their records, their customers’ details, their business data) is handled under the terms of that engagement, not this page. Where we host and operate an application for a client, that data sits on infrastructure we run, and the engagement sets out who may reach it and how long it is kept. As a standing practice, client data is never sold and never used to train any model. Where a job can be done without the data reaching us at all, we build it that way.

Software delivered to a client carries its own privacy policy describing exactly what that application does, supplied with the application itself.

Your choices

There is no tracking to opt out of. If you would rather not use the booking calendar, you can email me directly instead. If you have emailed me or booked a time and would like your information deleted, ask and I will delete it.

Children

This is a site for business services and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the handling described here changes, for example, if analytics are added to the site, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
